Don’t forget to file for Homestead Exemption by April 1, 2023🏠
The following criteria must be met to be eligible to receive homestead exemption tax benefits:
1. Be a legal resident of Mississippi
2. Reside on the property as of January 1, 2023
3. Purchase Mississippi license plates for all motor vehicles owned by the applicant(s)
4. Comply with Mississippi income tax requirements
